The Butte Mountain Lane West Road Maintenance Association (BMLW‑RMA) exists to maintain, repair, and improve Butte Mountain Lane West, the private road used by property owners within our designated area. We are a volunteer-governed, dues-funded association committed to transparency, fairness, and community cooperation.
BMLW‑RMA was formed by property owners along Butte Mountain Lane West in the Jackson, California area to collectively address road maintenance needs that fall outside county jurisdiction. What began as an informal agreement among neighbors has grown into a structured association with governing documents, elected board members, and a shared commitment to road quality.
The Association is led by an elected Board of Directors who volunteer their time to manage operations, coordinate contractors, oversee the budget, and communicate with members. Board elections are held at our Annual Meeting, open to all members in good standing.
Private roads don't qualify for county maintenance. Without BMLW‑RMA, each property owner would be responsible for their own section — costly, inconsistent, and potentially unsafe. Together, we achieve more for less.
